Age | Age isn’t specified in Starfighter but due to Abel being post-school (and assuming the school ages run similar to normal school ages) I’m assuming he’s post-school as well.So I’m saying 20. --- HAMLET has stated that Cain's age is about 22, so fixed this to 22 officially for game.

The best way to describe Cain is as a man of primal pleasures.
What you see is what you get with Cain. First appearances reveal the pride and arrogance of the man within. A man that has to be on top. It’s not a question of ‘maybe’ for him. If it’s something he wants, he takes it and rather forcefully. He truly believes he can have anything that he wants. This leads him to be unafraid of anyone or anything, so sure in himself to obtain the life he wants.
Because of his desire to be the best of the best and to have the world he wants he’s willing to do anything to get what he wants. He’s a forceful man by nature. He doesn’t take no for an answer from anyone. That’s not to say he doesn’t enjoy a good challenge to his authority, he does find it amusing if caught in the right mood, but in the end he will always be the one to win. He’d rather die than admit a defeat or a concession.
His inability to admit defeat leads him to have a very skewed value system. He doesn’t value things that are easily lost, and instead only wants what he knows he can have. It’s what keeps him as the top fighter, but stops him from trying to obtain a seat of leadership as a commander for example. Simple pleasures, after all.
One of his main pleasures is in being a Fighter. Not just a Fighter, the best Fighter. The uncontested best because no one is willing to challenge him for that position. He keeps his title through violent means and he abuses his title readily. He issues commands to his fellow Fighters and they follow without question, because no one wants to be on the receiving end of Cain’s wrath.
This exercising of power puts Cain at a distance from people. He has no friends, only followers. And barely those. Cain both knows and accepts this with indifference. He was never in it for the friends, after all. As longs as people stay out of his way and does as he says he’ll be perfectly happy.
There’s no man under the mask with Cain. He is fueled by his emotions. That means when he’s angry he is angry, and he acts on that anger. This varies in degree of anger and what’s upsetting him. When he’s frustrated and feeling small he tends to lash out to overcompensate. When someone crosses him he makes sure to punish them. This can be both physical and mental. Cain has an ability to see some of the more basic things in a person like himself and pick at them. It’s the closest he ever gets to relating to a person. He can use this to insult or hurt a person or to humiliate them or even for his own amusement. There’s no end to what Cain can and will do in any emotional state.
As much of a controlling psychopath as Cain tends to be, he’s not self-destructive in the least. He understands life, and even holds a vague sense of respect for it. He fights for survival. His fighting and his wins are for his own survival. He doesn’t much value the lives of others, but he understands the need to live. To go on and to be able to experience the things people enjoy most in life. For him this always tends to be pain and pleasure.
Pain and pleasure are one and the same for Cain. This makes him tend to be a bit of a sadist, to express these feelings. He feels no love for the people he gets physically intimate with, only the basic of feelings: lust. Cain reduces love to its most basic of forms and he’s not the least bit shy about it. He takes physical compassion with a grain of salt. He does tend to have a vague standard for who he’ll sleep with, preferring more weaker men to stronger but who have enough of a will to bite back as well, but this can be done away with in a pinch. After all he is a man of needs, and he’ll satisfy them any way he can.
In a nutshell, Cain is a very basic man. Basic needs, basic emotions, basic instincts. He acts on them with little concern for the people around him, always out to satisfy his own desires.

Character Abilities/Powers |
Cain has no magic powers, but he definitely has some skills suited only to him. Practically made for war, the man is a natural fighter. He’s ruthless and efficient in hand to hand combat. When he strikes he aims to make it hurt if not kill. He has the ability to control his attacks if he really focuses, but as he tends to get lost in a fight he can lose control. His moves still hit in that situation, and are even more dangerous because he’s no longer trying and is just attacking. Cain uses his fighting ability and strength as a way to control others around him. If they don’t listen, he beats them into listening. He’s not good with words, so he uses his fists to compensate for that inadequacy.
He is also a soldier, which means he’s had weapons training. He knows how to use guns, knives, grenades, etc. He’s a fighter pilot in the army where he’s from and one of the best and most skilled fighter pilots. Though he can use weapons, he prefers only to use the guns of ship. On ground he likes a good hand to hand fight.
Weaknesses/Fears |
As a man ruled entirely by his emotions, and a man who doesn’t know how to have proper emotions, they can get the best of him. His anger can make him lose control of a situation and lash out at whatever’s upsetting him. He doesn’t practice constraint at all and takes anything and everything that he wants, usually by force. He uses power to intimidate people, which can come back to bite him in the ass when people aren’t afraid of his strength and power.
His greatest weakness is definitely his need to be in control of everything. Losing control makes him angry and when he’s angry things can slip even further out of his control and just upset him even more. He will always attempt to regain control of something, and usually by force. Because he uses brute, physical strength as his main source of power anyone who can talk their way around him has the chance to get the upper hand. Though this is dangerous with him because he will lash out like he always tends to. His emotions easily get the best of him, and he gives over to them entirely. Even his pleasures can be a bit more primal and sadistic.

I don’t get this fucking place.
[The voice is a snarl as Cain tries to fumble with the device.]
I don’t recognize the technology or the buildings. There’s fucking green stuff all over the damn place. [Someone’s still in a mood from his arrival.]
There’s a way out, right? That Arawn fucker was bullshitting me when he said I’d be staying here ‘indefinitely’. I have better things to do than waste my life away on a pathetic island in the middle of the damn ocean.
[There’s a moment of silence, and then finally a sigh.]
Someone at least tell me where I can get some smokes. I can’t deal with this shit, otherwise.

What the fuck?!
When Cain began to stir into alertness the first thing he noticed was how bright the world seemed to be. It was a different sensation to wake to natural sunlight as opposed to the fluorescent bulbs installed in the ceiling of his small cabin on the ship. Cain tried to open his eyes to find the source of the light, but being thrust out of the darkness of space and into the light of natural earth had taken a toll on his senses. He needed a moment to adjust.
So he sat up in bad and rubbed at his aching head, trying to dull his senses to this new world. Before he could even begin to take in what was going on he heard a voice. A male voice. It had taken Cain a moment to realize the voice was not only inside his room, but speaking to him directly. Then he started to catch what was being said. Something about being new here, arriving here, why he was here. Where the hell was here?!
Cain finally managed to open his eyes to take in his surroundings. He immediately shut them against the sunlight again, before opening them a little more cautiously as he raised a hand to his eyes to try to block the light. The room was nothing like the small, two bed room with grey walls he’d been living in. Instead it was bright.
And the man was still talking. Cain gritted his teeth together in a snarl as he realized he was far from home, terra-bound it seemed, and this man would not shut up. Without thinking Cain launched himself from the bed, delivering a blow to the face for Arawn.
For a moment there was a sense of smugness to Cain’s look as he hit the man, but then it dawned on him that the man wasn’t even hurt. Arawn hadn’t even flinched, or moved from where he stood. Cain stared at him in shock and disbelief, so used to people crumpling under his blows.
As Arawn tried to calm him, Cain punched him again. And again. And even tried to kick him. By the end of it Cain was on the floor, panting and in shock. He let out a scream of rage as Arawn tried to tell him to calm down before slamming his fists against the floor, ignoring the shock that ran up his arms. He’d never encountered anyone who didn’t fight back, who didn’t even feel pain.
Cain accepted the last of Arawn’s gifts with a look of pure malice before the man disappeared. He didn’t care what Arawn had told him. This place was hell, and he was going to get the fuck out of there as soon as he could.
